Judging Criteria

  • Presentation
    Overall design and presentation of the final product. Expo performance and style both fall into this category.
  • Technical Difficulty
    Description: How challenging is the product on a technical level? Example: Did the team build their own operating system from scratch or did they simply smash two APIs together?
  • Creativity
    How original is the product? Did the team go out of their way to make their project unique?
  • Effort
    Did this team go above and beyond? If there was an opportunity to expand on the project did the team take it? Was this a team of first time hackers who completed their first project?
  • Completeness
    Description: How finished is the product? Is there a complete and functioning demo?
